4th Street Taphouse Bar & Grille

Eh…borderline 2*. Both burgers in our party were very overcooked, my father in law’s catfish tacos had almost no meat in them. Mac and cheese was Kraft Mac N Cheese.

I ordered a beer cheese and bacon burger and they didn’t put bacon on there. Told the waitress and instead of just addressing it, she gave me a strange look & said “let me check.” She came back and said “I checked and your ticket did say you ordered bacon so I’ll go get that for you.”

So basically she checked to see if either she or myself was wrong. Don’t tell me that. If it wasn’t on there, add it to the ticket/bill and just come back with it. Seemed a bit bizarre. We’re not complainers so we are the overcooked burgers and the food but there’s better places on the strip. There’s also worse but there’s better. Congealed (looked reheated) Kraft Mac N Cheese though? Seriously? And for $8? Charge me 13-15 for something homemade.

The food is amazing! We come here every year for Brian’s delicious fare! Nikki is the best bar tender we’ve ever encountered and the wait staff is always phenomenal and endure our wild antics with glee! After talking to the chef on his numerous checks on our table, he brought us a special treat of deviled eggs with habanero sauce and bacon that were to die for! The Ahi Tuna sandwich is my favorite food on the planet! The mussels are impressive and not easily replicated. Please come here and get treated by this amazing experience.

The Tuna Tacos with rosemary parm fries where delish! We thoroughly enjoyed the Crab stuffed avocado as well. Downsides where service... Waitstaff was lovely but even though they weren't busy it did take a while for them to come back and check on our table. Another couple where seated and never waited on so they left. I understand them being shortstaffed but it was sad to see customers left unattended even on a slow day.
