Try out “The Beach Babe” scrambled eggs with sauteed onions, potatoes, peppers, chorizo and home fries wrapped in a burrito topped with salsa and melted cheddar cheese, or the “Bagels and Lox” smoked salmon, sliced-thin red onion, tomatoes, capers with a bagel and cream cheese. Open at 7am daily!
Waterfront dining, a pet-friendly outdoor bayfront deck, and a full service bar for those homemade Bloody Mary’s and freshly squeezed mimosas… what more could you ask for? Bayside Skillet on 77th St. is famous for serving overstuffed omelets, and have every kind, from plain eggs to a seafood omelet, made with jumbo lump crab, shrimp, and scallops with diced scallions. They offer a special gluten free menu and, to top it off, have fresh fruit grown both locally and around the world.
Lobster Tail, Surf and Turf, and the “Original” Crab Lumps Benedicts go perfectly with Crabcake Factory’s famous Bloody Mary! The Original Crabcake Factory on 120th St. oceanside is open for breakfast 8am on the weekends, and 11am Monday-Friday.
Offering a gluten-free menu, Layton’s on 92nd St. has everything from pancakes to omelets to breakfast specialty meals. The best part about Layton’s? They serve any meal at any time! Open 6:30am-3pm, you can stop in at two in the afternoon and order eggs and bacon!
If you’re looking for a quick stop to grab breakfast before spending the day in the sun, head into Fractured Prune for some unique, delicious donuts made from scratch right in front of you. It doesn’t matter if you’re down by the boardwalk, mid-town, or up north-- there are multiple locations along Coastal Highway! Their best-selling doughnut is the “OC Sand,” made with honey glaze, cinnamon, and sugar.
If tasty bagels and “creamy shmears” sound appetizing to you, Shmagel’s Bagels is the perfect place to grab breakfast. Their freshly baked bagels come in an assortment of flavors, including apple cinnamon, pumpernickel, chocolate chip and french toast. Some of their “shmear” flavors include horseradish & cheddar, honey pecan, and crabby. They also serve specialty breakfast and lunch sandwiches!

Real Raw Organics on 34th St. has fruit and yogurt bowls, organic options and Kombucha. You’re probably wondering what on earth is Kombucha? It is healthy, fermented tea made up of vitamins, probiotics and electrolytes. For it to have nutritional value, it must be “raw,” meaning it has never been heated over 118 degrees. Blueberry Ginger, Apple and Acai, and Pomegranate Hibiscus are only a few of their Kombucha flavors!

Sausage links wrapped in hot cakes are the new “Pigs in the Blanket.” At The Little House of Pancakes located on 74th St., you can order pancakes with M&Ms, Reeses, Snickers, and Oreo Cookies & Cream! Open year-round, they serve over 20 types of pancakes, eggs, omelets and waffles.
With indoor and outdoor seating as well as carry out options, Malia’s Cafe is open 7am-2pm. On 18th St. right off the boardwalk, Malia’s serves breakfast and lunch, and offers vegetarian options. Locals say the “service is fast and friendly,” and that the “food is made fresh with love.”
There is also a little rumor going around that when they’re busy, they pass around free mini muffins to waiting customers!
