Windmill Creek Vineyard & Winery

We had an absolutely amazing time doing the Igloo Experience. The food was amazing, our server was delightful, and the entire experience was unbeatable. We showed up about 30 min early which allowed us to do a quick tasting before our reservation - the wine was great and we loved getting to meet the winemaker who was running the bar inside! Once we were set up in the igloo we had a perfect evening. Our server Alisa was great! She was the right amount of available and unobtrusive (and fun!) and even asked if we needed the music lowered when we were sat underneath the speaker which we definitely did and appreciated her consideration. The food was fantastic and worth every penny, and the igloo itself was a delightful atmosphere that felt perfectly cozy and intimate for our date.

We had an amazing meal last night paired with a sweet wine flight. The seafood 🍤 flatbread was absolutely perfect and the pirogies and meatballs with savory gravy was outstandingly good. Our waitress was exceptional and the bartender made one of the best Old fashioneds I’ve ever had. Try the blueberry wine you won’t be disappointed!

The Windmill Creek Winery & Farm has a quiet, relaxing, warm, old world style restaurant with a warm fireplace and great Christmas decorations. I enjoyed the in-house dining room very very much. The wine list has a lot of affordable options and I can easily recommend their blended red wine. It paired nicely with the superb short ribs and pasta. I wish I had a pic of it but started eating as soon as the dish was presented, it looked that good. Our server was Allyson and she made the experience very enjoyable.
