Tru by Hilton Ocean City Bayside

We chose this hotel because it was dog friendly. However, the rooms were not thoroughly cleaned. From time to time we were hit by a smell of poorly washed floors where dogs reside. The lobby had very dirty and neglected amenities.. Everything was stained. The pool looked like a poisoned zone. The nice thing was coffee and tea 24/7 however the stuff was not very diligent when it comes to refilling the tea bags and coffee pots. Breakfast was included but I am not even commenting on that. In general breakfast offered here vs in Europe is just so unhealthy that I am not touching that. This was an affordable stay but I would not go back. Hotel has a potential but TLC is much needed. Good location though. Service average.

Everyone there were so nice and helpful. I love that if you have a question you can just text rather than call. My one down call was no microwave in the rooms, you had to go downstairs to use one. My suggestion would be put one on each floor in the ice room, so that you didn't have to make the long trip to heat something up. I really enjoyed my Thanksgiving stay. Was a great location, everything in walking distance. Love that it was a pretty friendly property. Thanks for making my Thanksgiving stay Great!!!

2nd Thanksgiving I’ve spent here and was great as it was last year. It was very budget friendly for this time of year. Room was clean and pillows were soft. Shower was hot and great water pressure. FREE breakfast was good.

- bathroom sink drains slow
