The Tidelands Caribbean Hotel has 2 pools available, a rooftop pool with ocean and bay views and the other pool has a side ocean view with Crabcake Factory, Love's Lemonade, and Planet Wings on site. All standard hotel rooms provide a microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee maker. DVD players, WiFi, telephone service, safes, flat-screen TVs with cable are in all rooms. Ice and vending machines are on site. All rooms have heat and air conditioning and daily housekeeping service is provided. Buildings are handicap accessible with elevator service on all floors. Free parking (1 space per unit) with possible parking available and an additional lot.

I’ve been staying at the tidelands for over 10 years and this is the worst service I ever had. Called for towels and was told to put the old ones out and they would give us new. so I did that and never received new ones. so in the morning I walked down to the front desk & asked for towels and wash clothes and was told they would be around some time today, I said I’ve been waiting on them since yesterday and would like to take a shower and she said there was nothing she can do, i have to wait with a attitude. I never come on here to complain about things and give bad reviews but why am i paying a couple hundred dollars to stay at a place that can’t even provide towels for their guests. I will not be staying here again.

Me the wife my mom and two kids booked this hotel for the first time this past weekend. We were very pleased with everything. We are used to 4 star and up hotels but when I go to the beach I wanna feel close and apart of the beach. Every thing was fine. A little sand on the balcony is expected.......it's the beach! Good size, friendly accommodating staff and location. The parking sucked but we were only a block away from the hotel which wasn't bad at all. Room 305

From beginning to the end, I had bad experiences. The phone didn’t work the whole time. There is no Maid Services. The shower & bathroom were dirty. They refused to come and clean even though they promised to come and clean the room. The floor is sandy and feels like the beach and they wouldn’t even give us a broom to sweep up the sand. We had a midnight scare ( somebody pounded on the door at 1:30am) and the front desk did nothing about it. What expensive hotel doesn’t have housekeeping services? They say they put enough notices out how to schedule housekeeping people with disabilities aren’t able to read the signs they put out. I paid over 700$ for no housekeeping like what???
