The Greene Turtle Sports Bar & Grille West OC

Visited Ocean City for birthday week. Decided to go to Green Turtle for the big day!! Where has this location been all my life!? The wings were big and taste amazing. The crab dip was delicious!! Can’t say that I’ve ever actually received a full cup of crab dip before at a Green Turtle, but I did this time!! Service was welcoming as soon as I entered. Sat at the bar and had the best “Italian Surfer” drink. Similar to a Mai Tai but with amaretto sour and other ingredients; the flavor was phenomenal. Recommended by the bartender. I love Greene Turtle and this location really set the bar. Will definitely stop in again when I visit Ocean City.

Great place to watch sports. The best is cold, food was excellent and the service was amazing. What more could you want! The crab dip was delicious served with pretzel bites.

Today's special: Lobster grilled cheese sandwich. Nicely grilled bread, two slices of white American cheese, a scoop of questionable lobster in the form of a nearly flavorless mush. $17.
Today's soup: Chicken gumbo. Cooked so long the rice turned to gruel, the chicken nearly missing in action, no vegetables other than a barely present chunk of cooked to death celery. $9.

The manager was pleasant but had not sampled the dishes, nor had she any idea of the sourcing of the "lobster" meat, other than it came as it was found on the sandwich, and probably offered as a special by the distributor.
The waitress was very pleasant and helpful.

After pointing these shortcomings out to the manager, I was comped the meal.
