Sea Bay Hotel

A classic good enough hotel. Room was clean enough though it is slightly overdue for a deep clean. Terrible construction and fixtures - I don't believe I've ever seen a cheaper shower head. Paint is peeling in many places. Furniture on the balcony is growing things. On the plus side the staff is nice, one of the two beds was supportive and not caved in, and the restaurant was actually okay. Check-in and the restaurant are at the Best Western across the parking lot. Despite my criticism, I would consider staying again, provided that the price is right.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a very disappointing experience with the front desk staff, specifically Max and Ashley. Upon check-in, they mistakenly registered me under a completely different person’s name simply because they didn’t take the time to verify my full name properly. This led to a double charge on my account, even though I was assured it wouldn’t happen.

Now I’m left waiting three days for a refund for a mistake that was entirely on their end. This kind of carelessness and lack of accountability is unacceptable, especially in the hospitality industry where attention to detail and customer service should be a priority.

I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these issues so future guests don’t have to deal with the same inconvenience and frustration.

Had an awesome 3 night stay here. They're right off the expressway and you can get to many different places right away. We did have to check in at the Best Western (hotel is being renovated however you get to use the pool and the facilities at Best Western if you so desire) and then you walk right across the way to the Sea Bay hotel. Our room was clean, it came with a microwave and small refrigerator, as well as a balcony we had a beautiful view of the bay, we were able to watch the sun go down. It also has a pool for your enjoyment that is open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m entrance to the beach is right across the street you just want to walk to the corner of 61st Street. For those that may not drive you can catch the bus right outside the hotel to go down to the boardwalk. The bus is $5 for all day. The staff is super friendly and willing and eager to assist you. They charge your credit card $1 for incidentals. Their motto is they would rather have people have more money to spend on their vacation. Can't wait to come and stay again next year
