Sea Bay Hotel

My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing due to excessive noise from the room above me. There was constant jumping, banging, and loud disturbance for hours, making it impossible to rest or sleep.

I contacted hotel management three separate times to report the issue. Each time, I was assured it would be handled, but the noise continued with no meaningful resolution. One of their maintenance had to come in and unclog the bathtub and he heard the noise. Have to chuckle because management told me they were sending security. How I know because this individual told me he went to listen by their door.

What was most frustrating was the lack of effective response from management. Guests expect a comfortable and peaceful stay, and unfortunately this hotel failed to provide that. On the first time reporting the situation to management, was not offered to be moved, however on the third time (3 days later) reporting was told " well I can see if there is another room available to move you". Now you want us to have to pack up our things and move, this should have been offered on the first incident. Tell the ones who are being disrespectful to move, " oh I can't do that".

I have stayed at the Best Western Plus several times before and Seabay is same management, something has changed.

Seabay, room was not clean especially the bathroom, clogged bathtub, hair in it, on the floor, beds lumpy and hard. Room smelled very musty. On a positive note; their cleaning crew are very friendly.

I would not stay here again based on this experience.

This hotel was very clean, plenty of parking. Friendly staff. It's close to the bus stop. There is a 7-11 near by. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach.

Beds were super hard, the carpet wasn’t clean, and it smelled like weed.
