Safari Hotel Boardwalk

The staff are literally the nicest people ever. So polite, so helpful without hesitation. The rooms are a little small, but fine for two people. It's right on the boardwalk, it's very convenient, we walked everywhere. I recommend "pizza boy", "Crepe daddy", and "Shenanigans" for food in walking distance.

The rooms were clean, the staff kindly gave me new sheets daily, as there was always sand in them. They treated our belongings with respect, and the owner is happy to make fresh coffee for guests. Sometimes there's cookies put out for guests, too. He also has a cute dog.

The fridge and microwave were super helpful, as portions on the boardwalk are large and leftovers save money.

Anyway, I would stay here again. It was so much cleaner than the previous hotel we stayed in Salisbury, and late nights on the balcony were very peaceful.

This last-minute low-cost booking turned out to be a great value. Ocean-view (side view from room) ended up great, and shared ocean front shaded deck more than made up for lack of ocean front private deck. For significant savings and value over Hyatt, Marriott Courtyard, etc, for a short stay, this won’t disappoint. Make sure to spend extra for the ocean view, because the non view rooms have no view. Management were very helpful when needed.

I am dealing with health issues, and they were very accommodating.

It was just my daughter and I, when we checked out the male owner not only rolled our cart out but helped us load our car with all our bags and luggage.
I was Very thankful for this!

The location is perfection!

It is an older hotel, but it is Very clean!

I Loved that the windows not only opened but had screens on them as well.

The community decks were very clean and so peaceful to hang out on after a long day at the beach.

In all my years of much travel I have Never had a shower with such great pressure in it! With thick naturally curly hair, it can be really hard to get my hair clean and rinsed without enough water pressure.

The only real complaint I have is the air conditioner did not seem to cool our room well, other than that it was an awesome stay and we will be back.
