Rideau Motor Inn

First time staying here and it definitely WONT be my last...
The rooms are spacious and comfortable, vinyl or similar flooring (no musty moldy carpet smell like other motels in area)
Polite and courteous staff! Christina is awesome! A true mom n pop motel. Might not be the fanciest but it's clean and comfortable... That's all I need for a trip to the beach! Definitely recommend!! If you're not used to staying along the boardwalk there is a bit of noise into the evening but nothing extreme... If you retire early evening and want complete quietness then right by the boardwalk might not be for you but this place is great for the average guest and in ideal location.

We booked the Rideau because it’s close to the inlet. My husband has mobility issues and cannot walk long distances. They were able to provide us with a wheelchair for the duration of our stay at no charge. Our oceanfront room was very clean and has been updated. The only drawback we had was that while housekeeping provided us with clean towels daily, our beds weren’t made each morning. I tend to think this was just an oversight as the staff couldn’t have been any nicer or more accommodating to us. The location was was ideal. We will definitely stay here again on future visits!

We had originally planned on camping, but weather conditions had other ideas. So we stayed here for 3 nights. I cannot say enough about this hotel!! The staff was amazing! The rooms are spacious and the beds are so comfortable! We could've stayed elsewhere for a little less, but I refuse because I know this place is clean and comfortable. Its mere steps to the boardwalk. All the food nearby is great also. Oh! And the pool is clean and well maintained, I have a serious aversion to public pools but I swam here no problem. The owner is working to update things and is absolutely the sweetest, caring lady ever. I have stayed at many places in OC but I will forever make this my home away from home!
