Princess Royale Oceanfront Resort

Hands down the best hotel I’ve stayed at - EVER. I have been her countless times(possibly around 12-20 times in my life) and each time is 10000/10. Beautiful newly renovated rooms. Complimentary room upgrades. Full kitchen with plates, cups, silverware, pots etc so you can save money by eating at the hotel… beautiful views. Much better experience than staying on the boardwalk because it’s quiet and no drama. Never had any issues with it being loud(even during peak summer). Rooms are spacious, plenty of room to put clothes. Shower is pretty big, storage in bathroom for beauty / health supplies. Customer service is AMAZING!!!!! I have never even had any slight issues. Housekeeping deserves their own shoutout because each room is thoroughly cleaned and never had any issues(which I know for many has been a huge issue with other places, myself included). Pool is well maintained and can be used year round. They do have a wheelchair on site, which is great for those with mobility issues, which again is huge because many places don’t offer that level of accommodations. I feel very confident in recommending the princess royale to close friends, family and the general public because I know they will have a memorable great experience. It really is a great hotel, and the price is quite competitive considering all the amenities.

This review was another group effort. If it were based only on our experience it would have been a 5 star. We rented a room with an ocean view at a surprisingly reasonable rate. OC has some crazy expensive rooms during the season. Ours was newly renovated. Looks like they are working to refresh the hotel but it is in process. Not done. Indoor pool looks great for kids. Outside has a bar where you can get snacks and watch the waves

We stayed here kind of by accident. Family had a room so we decided to stay. They did not elect for one of the renovated rooms and they said it looked and smelled very early 90s.

Beautiful Resort. We came for the weekend to just getaway. Traveled from NJ. We had a suite and was very big and spacious. Clean. Everyone was friendly. We would love to come back in the warmer months but might be a little more expensive. Overall great experience. We've stayed in a few places down in OC and this was by far our favorite.
