This hotel was great for the beach experience that it was. Staff was great although regular front desk staff couldn't answer certain questions and I had to return several times. Room was very nice, could use a really good going over as I am sure they do at the end of every season. Staying so late in the season, September, meant that it was nice enough in the evenings to open the sliding doors. The problem was my room was directly on the pool which definitely had its pluses. The minus was there was absolutely no privacy, natural light, or security once you opened the blackout draperies. Leaving the door open at all with just the screen was impossible. Parking seemed safe and I had absolutely no trouble going in and out of the lot. Overall a very nice hotel with exceptional access to boardwalk and Beach. I would definitely go back.

The room was big and spacious, though the “bayview” mostly overlooked the parking lot with only small glimpses of the water. The walls are quite thin — we stayed on the 5th floor and could hear our neighbors clearly, including loud drunk guests who only quieted down after about 11pm on our first night.

At check-in, we were charged an unexpected $35.40 “third-party booking” fee that wasn’t mentioned in the app, plus a $50 refundable security deposit.

On the positive side, housekeeping was really good, the free lobby coffee was a nice touch, and the outdoor heated pool was enjoyable (though the water could’ve been a bit warmer).

Overall, a comfortable stay with good amenities, but the thin walls and inconsistent/unannounced fees left a mixed impression.

The Location is the only thing I actually liked. The parking area is very small, the handicap parking is close to the front door, and the lay out was not great. The room was $600 a night it served a purpose but it was not worth it. The toilet sit on the ground and the seat was crooked. The shower seemed dirty looking to me. The water pressure truly was terrible it was pressure washer strong or it dribbled out while you actually showered. The staff in the morning was nice but the afternoon did not seem as nice. The amenities like fresh towels for the pool or the beach is nice and the complimentary chairs on the beach is nice. The location on the board walk was perfect. I would stay here again at a third of the price, I will not be back at the price we paid.
