On What Grounds? is a locally owned coffee shop and breakfast stop in Berlin, Maryland. We are proud to feature Intelligentsia Coffee, roasted according to the highest standards and carefully prepared by our highly trained and experienced baristas.

Started our exploring here today. I had a Pina colada smoothie, the large was more than enough. My husband had a delicious bagel sandwhich. Very nice coffee & food stop.

Wholesome, calming, inviting and comfortable in the ❤️ of small town Berlin. I had a AVO on multigrain and my wife had FIG toast delicious. Best hot coffee! I could bring a book and stay here all day!

Super cute and clean! Staff is super friendly! And they have a very relaxing area to sit and enjoy your delicious goodies! I got A mango smoothie and it was very delicious! I’v also had their matcha and chia latte they do not disappoint! I need to come back soon and try one of their season specialty drinks ASAP!
