Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Ocean City

Great place to stay. I say 4/5 stars because we stayed at a competitor hotel in the same price range with similar amenities. For our needs we like the other one better. But, it might not be the same for everyone. Below are the big differences:
This hotel put a $75 hold. The other, $1.
This hotel had waffles, bagels, and muffins for breakfast. The other had eggs, sausage, and pancakes.
This hotel had an outdoor pool with hot tub. The other had an indoor pool.
This hotel had more amenities in room, like a closet, and kitchen sink. The other hotel had standard rooms.
Both had WONDERFUL staff and were very clean.
Check in and check out were very easy.

Service was great and most everything was excellent. No freezer in the frig and it didn’t keep food very cold, even at the highest setting. There was some orange crusty stuff on the doorway into the bathroom. It could have been paint peeling with an undercoat of orange, but I didn’t want to mess with it to see. It was nothing worth complaining about for what I needed. Room 203

Didn't mind the location, the man at desk front desk was very nice. However, I drove 3 hours away with my husband and our 1 year old and had to leave at 12am because the bed and walls had big stains on them and no one was there to clean that night or offer us extra sheets. I reported this to the manager Kim and she denied my refund request. I thought the room set up was really nice and neat at first but once i really explored, I couldn't take it.
