Madison Beach Motel

Rooms are small, but we didn’t come to stay in the room. Clean, no funky odors. It was nice to not have carpeted floors, but with that came tracking sand in. (Simple fix bought a cheap broom). Parking was tight but do able! Super close to two convenient stores, board walk and beach across the street! Restaurants and shops galore within walking distance! Pool was nice as well! Sam was super helpful and friendly! My only “complaint” there was no where to hang wet towels…not a deal breaker but would have been convenient to have! Would stay here again!

Staff was friendly, check in was easy and this motel is fairly priced BUT cleanliness could definitely be better. Floors were dirty and had obvious dirt from not being mopped. The bedding and towels also smell funny, almost like a moldy smell. Asked for another set of towels and those ones smelled worse. Other than the lack of cleanliness (which is a very important part) my stay was great.

Let me say that the staff was wonderful. Smiling and available. They made their best effort to help with any issues we may have had. However many of the issues we had they could not help with. The internet WiFi kept disconnecting. The showers had little more than a trickle of water pressure. The rooms were very small with no small tables or chairs or closets or anywhere to hang or store or set anything aside. Parking was terrible on the weekends. The AC unit sounded as if it was going to explode. The bathroom was very very small had no fan. There were very few outlets in the room and bathroom. While staff was very nice and provided extra towels that were not very many in the bathrooms nor were their places to put them. The other people who were staying there were very loud and rude which is not the staff's fault. Screaming and banging all night long. I'd really like to give a better review because the staff was so great but this is honest.
