I've been coming to Ocean City for years, and this is by far the best place to stay for the price. I've been to a lot more expensive hotels that weren't nearly as clean and had subpar service. The location of the King Charles Hotel was perfect; a 2-minute walk to the beach and boardwalk, right downtown. The room was clean upon arrival, and the entire atmosphere and friendliness of the hotel and its staff were perfect. I'll definitely be returning in the future!

We've been coming to the King Charles since 2022, and at this point, I think we should probably be paying rent.

But this year was next-level. We snagged the room with the balcony and, I can confirm, it is a little slice of heaven.

This place is so impossibly clean it makes me embarrassed to go home to my own house.

The owner is an absolute legend, and the location is so perfect it feels like we never have to get in the car. It’s a literal half-block from the daily beach pilgrimage and an easy stumble to favorites like Bad Ass Cafe, Brass Balls, and Brothers Bistro.

For a fun, relaxing vacation to recharge, this is our perfect spot.

Leaving is a very very very temporary “see you later”. Same time, next year. I’m already counting down the days.

We recently stayed at the King Charles Hotel with our family and were very pleased with our experience. The hotel is in a great location—just a short walk from the beach and the main street with shops and restaurants. It's a perfect spot for those who want to be close to all the action, yet enjoy a peaceful and cozy atmosphere.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. We especially want to highlight the friendly and attentive staff—they gave us a warm welcome from day one and were always ready to help and answer any questions.

The hotel has a homey feel, and you can tell the staff truly care about their guests. We also appreciated the free parking—it's a big plus in such a busy area.

We will definitely come back again and highly recommend King Charles Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in Ocean City.
