Our favorite place to stay in Ocean c
City. Close walk to beach and bay. Near great restaurants. The rooms are so clean, especially considering it's a beach hotel. They fixed a plumbing issue right away. The free breakfast is really good.

I felt inclined to leave a review after my stay at this Home 2 Suites bayside location. We checked in Sunday 8/24 around 5:30 PM I say this detail because I can’t remember the name of the person who checked us in, but he was very nice and helpful. The rooms are a great size and perfect for what we were looking for. It’s right in the middle of everything. There’s paddle board and kayak rentals right behind the hotel which we did and it was nice. I also wanted to mention Kassy and I believe Jenny (I may be off with the names I tried my best to remember) which were two front desk staff. They were so nice and helpful throughout my stay. I felt all the staff was very welcoming. I brought my dog and it always makes me nervous because I have been to pet friendly hotels with my dog where it seemed some staff were just so bothered by the fact I had my dog with me. The staff offered treats to her and always went out of their way to say hello. Also, the breakfast is great. They had every breakfast meat, bagels, chicken patties for chicken and waffles or sandwiches, French toast sticks, cereal and more, probably one of the best continental breakfasts I’ve had so far. We come to OCMD every year and usually stay with family but felt it’d be better to start getting our own room for more privacy and comfortability and we definitely will be back for our annual stay.

The location is good, but it is far from the OC beach boardwalk, which requires about a 15-minute drive. Parking can be challenging to find, as metered hourly fees are in effect. However, there are good sandwiches, pizza, shops, a beach, paddleboarding, ice cream, and mini-golf within walking distance from the hotel. They have a nice-sized indoor pool, a small gym, free parking, are pet-friendly with small fees, and have a place to grill.

When we checked into the hotel, our door did not lock, and the sink disposal didn't work. The breakfast was just okay. The night guest agent went out of her way to help us settle in, answering our questions and providing prompt service. Unfortunately, this was one of the dirtier Home2Suites we have stayed at, the carpet felt old and dirty, and the grill was not working.
