This is our top hotel when visiting Ocean City. Good staff and welcoming atmosphere make this a the primary hotel of choice for us. The lobby has been updated and the pool area was invited with awesome views of the Atlantic. The suite was as we’d remembered with a few updated things like usb ports on the night stands and updated tvs. The lamps, sofa and bathroom are definitely in need of a modern update. The ocean balcony view makes it ALL worth it and the sound of the waves makes the night and sleep so much more pleasurable. If you never been to Ocean City, let me assure you, restaurants with good food are innumerable! You can’t go wrong from breakfast to dinner. And I’m talking walking distance! We were there with another couple and enjoyed 4 days and 3 nights even though it rained one day. The hotel restaurant and staff went above and beyond in making sure we enjoyed our selections. Parking wasn’t an issue for this time of year and relaxation is encouraged. We absolutely love it and I’m sure you will too!

Avoid This Hotel at All Costs
If you’re traveling with family or coming from the Tri-State area, avoid Hilton Ocean City Oceanfront Suites at all costs. What happened to my family here—and the complete lack of follow-through afterward—was unacceptable.
Staff Misconduct
While in the kiddie pool area with my 4-year-old daughter, an employee abruptly ordered all kids under 18 out of the hot tub because one adult didn’t want children nearby.
This rule had not been enforced at all until that moment—multiple kids had been in the hot tub all day without issue. The only posted sign was on a gate about 15 feet away, unclear and not obviously tied to the hot tub itself.
When I calmly commented that enforcing this at 2 PM on an August weekday in a family area felt unreasonable, Kevin responded with a rude, sarcastic tone, ending the interaction with a taunting “Have a good day, sir” in front of my daughter.
The next morning, he approached me again and loudly said “Good morning!” with an exaggerated, mocking grin, then laughed when I didn’t respond. It was unprofessional, targeted, and completely inappropriate behavior toward a guest—especially in a family environment.
Management Promised to Fix It—Then Disappeared
I reported everything immediately. I spoke to multiple staff members and a manager during my stay. Weeks later, on October 4th, the Assistant General Manager emailed me saying the issue had been “addressed” with the employee and that I would receive two complimentary Hilton nights as a gesture of goodwill.
Months later, we’ve received nothing.
No certificates. No follow-up. No explanation. Not even a second email. Corporate was copied and also did nothing.
The Bottom Line
This hotel:
• Allows staff to treat guests rudely and mockingly
• Enforces rules inconsistently and arbitrarily
• Makes written promises it never fulfills
• Shows zero accountability from both management and Hilton corporate
There are many better options in Ocean City. Do not stay here. Hilton failed us completely.

HP people take note: We love this hotel! Our 1st visit we stayed in a 2 queen Oceanview suite. The bathroom is large & has a combination jetted tub and rain shower showerhead. I have a lot of arthritis and needed to sit on the side of the tub to get into it. That worked okay but asked & found out the 2 queen or 1 king corner suites have the jetted tub in the bedroom and an AWESOME large easy to enter shower stall in the bathroom!!! 3 rail shower shower heads make it feel like a standing jacuzzi! On our 2nd visit we stayed in this type room and it will be our go to place for vacation. The huge balcony is perfect. Mostly sheltered from the weather and fantastic to sit on and just watch the ocean. Love it! Bonus! We saw the sunrise each day of our visit. Check it out. We had room service for breakfast each day and they came on time with hot food. Their Thanksgiving Day dinner was superb. All the staff were friendly and helpful with lots of smiles. The concierge staff were very helpful. The rooms are quiet, could not hear neighbors on either visit. Love this hotel.
