Harrison Hall Hotel

Me and my mom have stayed here a few times now and we really love this spot! There is a big porch that has an ocean view, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are a bit small but it has everything we need and they are very comfortable. They have coffee, tea, hot water and a microwave in the lobby which is nice. The housekeeping comes every day and anytime I asked for something they were very nice and helpful. The price is really reasonable, especially for the summer months + being on the boardwalk. Oh also, at night is was quiet! The walls must be thick, when we would go out, you could here people talking in their rooms in the hallway but it was muffled. If you're in your own room, ya don't here a thing. If you're looking for the basics, comfort and friendly staff, stay here. :)

Stayed here a couple times. This hotel hits a sweet spot for me between location and service. The staff have been social and helpful. One room I had was great. Another one was dingy, smelled funky and was not level. In both cases the rooms were fairly well cleaned. The location is great. This hotel doesn't provide sitting spaces or desks in the room so you might want to look elsewhere if you're intending on doing any work.

The location is the only positive. It’s right on the boardwalk and steps to the beach with no street to cross, and has a nice porch overlooking the beach. The room was horribly dirty - dust on top of dust everywhere, dingy floor and ceiling, dirty and old carpet, and we opened the drawers to find dust and dirt. The shower is very small and the body wash dispenser was empty upon arrival, which shows the horrible attention to detail. Our window was directly on a rooftop and the window was broken and was not locked when we walked in. It was chilly in the evening so we turned the AC down and the room immediately smelled like mold and mildew without the air circulating. The staff at check in did not make us feel welcome and the one time we had to ask for towels, it took 3 trips to the front desk before they were delivered. They offer daily room service but we declined this service due to the poor attention to detail we noticed at first sight. I cleaned the entire room and every flat surface with Clorox wipes before I let my family settle in. The only reason we stayed for our few nights was because it was non refundable.
