Within a short distance of our Ocean City, Maryland hotel, you'll find beach activities, fishing and golf. Spend a day with the kids at Jolly Rogers Amusement Park. Try your luck on slots and horse racing at Ocean Downs & Casino. My family and I stayed 2 nights to celebrate new years. We loved our stay. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic and kids enjoyed the pool. Our room was great! Very clean and the view of the bay was a plus! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will be back again.

After initially having an issue with my online reservation, which neither the hotel nor customer service were able to resolve, I was pleased to find on arrival that I'd been upgraded to a bay view room. That's good customer service and it was appreciated.
Parking is good, the lot well maintained and lighted, and no problem finding a spot close to the entrance. I appreciate that the entry doors are locked after 11 PM and require a room key to access. I have stayed in several area hotels and many are freely accessible at all hours.
The hotel is beautifully decorated for the holidays- I love the real Christmas tree in the lobby overlooking the bay. Breakfast has been plentiful and good. The indoor pool and hot tub are warm and clean with powerful jets. The ice machine is in a separate room behind a door, so guests in nearby rooms aren't disturbed by noise. The hotel has been very quiet. Despite being close to the main road, I've been unaware of any traffic noise. Noise from inside has been minimal. (I'm in a top floor, west-facing room.)
My room is spacious, clean, and well-appointed. Housekeeping has been attentive. The balcony and view is beautiful and serene. The hotel is built right at the edge of the marshlands at bay's edge so nothing is behind the hotel. I could theoretically leave my drapes open and awaken to the view- but a bright light is installed on every balcony and there's no option to turn it off. (The blackout curtains work fine.)
The first night here my heating unit was not functioning properly and I awoke to 52 degrees! Maintenance came immediately and the issue was resolved.
I like it here so much that I just changed my upcoming reservation from a different hotel to here- I will be trying the city (east) view next time to save a little bit of money.

The hotel is beautiful. The staff very friendly, very helpful, very professional. The breakfast was amazing and the coffee as well. Our room was okay the cleaner did a sub par job. The shower had blue body wash still on the tile from the last guest. There was a 1/4 of a roll of toilet paper left maybe less without any new roll. The provided body wash was empty. However other than the fumble by the cleaner the hotel was amazing. Great job Hampton I love your hotel. This would've been a 5 star review of the cleaner did her job. The room was big, the view was beautiful. King suite city view 4th floor amazing room.
