Hampton Inn & Suites Ocean City West

March 2025. I've never been in the area before and this seemed to be the best hotel for my two-day vacation needs, namely a reasonable price, good location, and good reputation. It lived up to my idealized expectations. We especially liked the breakfasts, great location, and indoor pool. Front desk service was exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel.

The guest room was clean, and the front desk staff provided friendly service. However, the thin walls resulted in noise transfer from adjacent rooms. A malfunctioning refrigerator was efficiently replaced. Breakfast featured a consistent menu of scrambled eggs, potatoes, and chicken sausage patties daily, unlike the varied offerings at other Hampton Inn locations. The hotel's pet-friendly policy included readily available waste disposal bags. We would consider a return stay. The property is conveniently located a 10-15 minute drive from the boardwalk and directly across the street from outlet shopping and numerous restaurants.

Both rooms were not complete. We had to go downstairs and ask for these items. The floor was not vacuum, and breakfast was almost the same every day, not much of a variety like most of the other Hampton or Hilton I stay in.
