Crystal Beach Oceanfront Hotel

This hotel is not worth the price that they charge. First thing we had called to request a crib or something for the baby to sleep in a few weeks prior to coming to the beach. They said they have them and it would be set up when we got here. The crib was not in the room. We had to ask them and they did bring it later that day. It was a pack n play which was alright but it was not clean. Thank gosh that I brought Lysol wipes with me that I was able to clean it. The parking is not free it cost $70 to park for 7 days. The parking spaces are super tight together and had to get the kids out of the vehicle before we could even park the car. We got placed on the second floor ocean view. It was an alright view but there is construction going on right in front of you. They are putting a new hotel in. We had a side view of the beach. We got a call in the morning that the second floors ac broke and they gave us two options. The options were they could bring a portable ac unit in or we could switch rooms. Well we picked the portable ac unit since we do have a baby and a toddler and a pre teen child so we have lots of stuff to have to move. The maintenance guy came to put the unit in and I asked him if we were going to still be able to get on the balcony and he said no. When they never told us that. So we went down to the front desk and told them we wanted a balcony ocean view room and that is what we paid for. He switched our room to the 4th floor. They did not help move our things it took about an hour and a half to get everything moved. Then we go to take a shower there is mold in the shower the water pressure to take a shower was awful. I had to literally take a cup and wash myself in the tub the tub plug would not stay up unless you physically held it up so it filled up while trying to shower. When we asked about reimbursement they declined it. I would highly recommend to not stay here.

I have to say our stay was great other than the first night they gave us a room with a loud AC unit. Staff was very friendly and efficient at helping switch rooms. Very nice location, has 2 pools and a bar/restaurant with good food. Overall I’d stay there again.

Arrived 7/26/26 carpet around air conditioner soak contacted front desk they bought an industrial fan to run in room . Fan was very loud had to turn it off 2 kids in room couldn't sleep . Next day was moved to another room. Balcony door kept getting struck . No room service even with sign on the door . Another trip to the front desk for clean towels. Got back to room the balcony door fell off the track. Another call to front desk. Spend quite a bit of my 3 night stay waiting for maintenance. Stayed here 4 times before but not for 6 years never had any problems before. I am just a grandma trying to have a great time with my grandchildren. Will not return.
