Commander Beach House Hotel

We booked a 2 double-bed room for the weekend, rooms are pretty small but you get what you pay for! About $40 to use the Commander Beach House Hotel parking lot, didn’t really care since it’s so close to the boardwalk! We spent most of our time on the beach and boardwalk so we didn’t even drive anywhere and got our use out of our parking permit.
Honestly the lobby and the halls could’ve been kept nicer and rooms could’ve been better. My husband did mention the slight smell of mildew. :/ I personally think this is a great option if you’re just looking for somewhere just to lay your head!!!

I stayed in the Commander Beach House Hotel for a week with 3 of my friends. The rooms weren’t awful but they were definitely not fit for 4 people. If you are looking into this place and have a group bigger than 2, I wouldn’t stay here. There isn’t much space for bags or anything. I would’ve liked if the shower had a plastic curtain with the regular one so the water wouldn’t get all over the floor. The location is great and there is a pool across the street with the Commander Hotel. Me and my friends thought the room service was very unfortunate because we only received service once throughout our week even though we had the sign on the door multiple times. Our trash cans were full and we needed new towels but didn’t receive service even after we called the front desk. Overall, the only complaints about this place is the room service. The staff at the hotel is super nice but the beach house hotel does not have any staff there.

Absolutely loved it. The staff was amazing. Met their Chief Engineer Mr. Scott. If you get the reference you're old. But definitely trust the functions of the property.
