Comfort Suites

I reserved a room with fireplace & jacuzzi tub. On arrival, I was given a room without a fireplace. Back down to the desk & was informed the fireplace broke over the weekend. (There was no fireplace in the room at all, so this seemed a little suspicious a tale.) The whole reason I booked here was for some rest & relaxation and cozy ambiance in the room in February. They did refund my payment and I was able to find a room elsewhere with a great bay view, balcony, and a shared hot tub and indoor pool. I ended up extending my stay there, so this place lost out on a lot more $ from me than they might have, had they just done it right. They should have told me before I arrived! I like to try different hotels in OC, so I was coming from another local place and had to kill the whole day, just to be disappointed. Do better. Communicate!

I booked my stay through a third party site. They booked me a room that this hotel did not have available. I also got charged twice for the room. Talk about a disaster right? Well, Will at the front desk went above and beyond to help me settle the room and charge issues with the third party. He was super empathetic, he didnt make me feel like a hassel at all, he didnt rush me, he didnt sound annoyed, and he really put my frustrations at ease. Despite a rough start that wasnt even the hotels fault, he was an absolute pleasure to work with. I hope his boss sees this review he deserves recognition for a job well done. You have an amazing employee.

I had a very nice stay at the Comfort Inn Suites. The hotel was comfortable and welcoming, and I really enjoyed my time there. The food was delicious, which made the stay even better. I also loved the area—it was close to everything I needed, and the beach was just a short drive away, which was a huge plus.
The only small issue I experienced was that I wished the water in the bathroom had been a little hotter. Other than that, everything else was great, and I would definitely consider staying here again.
