Coconut Malorie Resort
Pros:
- Good location
- No issues with staff
- They give you a paper with some useful nearby locations (like the ACME and eateries)
- Kitchenette had glassware & dish soap
- Nice sunset view from balcony
- Balcony could cut off sound well when closed up
- The rooms can be connected, so if you're traveling with a large group, that could be fun. It was a double door, so even if you knew your neighbor, they couldn't just come into your room.
Cons:
- The building is old 🧓🏚👵
- The "clean" sheets/ mattress cover for the pull-out couch bed had a smell 🤢
- No air conditioning
- Shower at a time when you can get hot water
- Housekeeping does not come everyday and they ask you to reuse towels
- Live music from balcony (I liked the sound during the day, but with no air conditioning, it made sleeping with the balcony OPEN impossible)
This place is not family-friendly. If you are an adult traveling without children, who also enjoys the heat and will spend most of your time partying or at the beach, then this is a good match for you.

Never even got to stay here. Don’t ever want too. Was told I wouldn’t be charged for my room until I got to the resort. Booked in February. A month later in March, I had a 250.00 charge. When I inquired I was told it was for the first nights stay. I said why one month after booking are you charging my card when I had in writing I would not be charged till I stayed. I was basically told that was their policy to charge the first night and once I give my card info they have consent to charge whenever they wanted too. I argued that I had in writing I wouldn’t be charged till my date of travel and they cannot just randomly charge me one month after booking out of no where but they took no accountability were extremely rude and unprofessional.

Yoo had a field day. Yes the room was a little outdated BUT!! The scenery (Especially in the morning) was delightful. The seagulls and turtles really was a nice surprise while eating breakfast on the balcony. I also enjoyed the huge arcade room. Many new and old games played at 3:00am. I REALLY enjoyed the outside pool and jacuzzi while watching others crossing the pier to Fagers Island. I witnessed a recently married couple getting photographed while the sun set. Totally awesome. Staying here was close to all amenities, that's what I really liked. Walking short distance to restaurants, fishing, clubs, and recreational rentals was a plus. Everyone vacationing in Ocean City was just happy all the time and open. This resort has the most understandable staff. It felt like the term "Customer is always right" was their moto. Extra pillows, calling the front desk at 4:00am, tips about cheap recreational activities for my family, being resourceful when asked. They just did everything right. Stayed a whole week and seriously miss the experience still to date since 2022. P.S. You gotta try Mambo Pizza. We had 3 Large delivered and they were still piping hot and very tasty (fulfilling). My children were soo exhausted and snoring in bed every night. Satisfying
