Jessica was phenomenal! She helped me when I was in dire need of a place to stay last minute as the Coastal Palms hotel put me and my family in a horrible situation. The room was clean, the bed was nice, the air conditioning was amazing. The location of the spot is beautiful with the bay view. They really took care of us in a time of need! Yes the hotel is older, however the bathrooms are AMAZING, the VIEWS, & the hospitality of Jessica made everything worth it. Thank you Coconut Malorie for coming to our rescue! We will definitely make this our go to place.

Extremely Disappointed – Not Worth the Price
I was highly disappointed with my stay at the Coconut Malorie Resort. The photos online did not reflect the reality of the room I received. For the price I paid, I expected a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained space. Unfortunately, what I walked into was the opposite.
🪳 Cleanliness & Sanitation:
There were signs of insect droppings on the counters and even a dead bug on the floor. The room clearly needs professional extermination. This made me feel uncomfortable the entire stay.
🛋 Furniture & Upholstery:
The furniture is extremely outdated and stained. The couches and chairs had visible dirt marks and were clearly worn out. One cushion had an old mystery stain that made sitting on it feel unsanitary.
🧼 Bathroom Condition:
The tub was chipped, dirty, and looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in quite some time. It felt unusable, which is unacceptable for a resort that advertises luxury and comfort.
🧱 Overall Maintenance:
From damaged ceilings to stained carpets and worn-out upholstery, this room looked like it hadn’t seen proper upkeep in years. Ceiling tiles were misaligned and discolored, and the sprinkler system even looked rusted around the edges. These are not minor details—they’re signs of neglect.
For a hotel in the Ascend Collection, this was an embarrassment. I would not recommend staying here unless serious renovations and deep cleaning are done. It’s hard to relax when the environment feels so unhygienic and outdated.

The stay was okay. Room was average as far as aesthetic. The refrigerator had a leak and the pictures online are completely different from the room you stay in. Service was okay every one was friendly. Its good for a weekend getaway would not do a full vacation at this hotel
