Pros: The hotel room was spacious and clean. I liked that it had the kitchenette with some dishes and an indoor pool. The front desk was helpful and always available. Also there is a grocery store and other convenient stores close by and it is near a bus stop. Also it is very close to the beach (but far away from the boardwalk). Cons: The pullout couch bed was horrible, we ended up just using the couch itself. The elevator kept breaking but they did repair it quickly. My only interaction with housekeeping was tracking them down and asking them for towels that they never brought. I don't mind not having housekeeping come in but for 5 of us staying for 5 nights we do need clean towels so I had to get them from the front desk. Also had to set my own trash out and ask for more trash bags. In conclusion, I would stay again but do prefer being closer to the boardwalk so for that reason will probably choose another hotel. This hotel is decent for the price and not musty and outdated like some of the others in the area I've stayed at. It is affordable and decent overall though.

My family and I stayed at Cayman Suites, and overall, the hotel itself has a lot going for it. The suite we stayed in was clean, spacious, and comfortable, which made it easy for us to settle in. The housekeeping staff were absolutely wonderful—friendly, attentive, and consistently went above and beyond to make sure our room was tidy and welcoming. Their kindness really stood out and made a big difference in our stay.

However, our experience at the front desk was unfortunately the opposite. One particular staff member made our extended stay very unpleasant and uncomfortable. From the very beginning, her attitude was unprofessional, dismissive, and unhelpful. Instead of making us feel welcomed as guests, her interactions left us feeling stressed and unwelcome. For a hotel that otherwise has so much potential, this was extremely disappointing. I came down to extend my stay she brushed me off and said I was good to go. I then walk back to my room and about a hour later me and my 4 children are getting ready to go to the pool and beach and she’s threatening to kick us out and to call the property manager. It was a mistake on her end and she never apologized. I contacted the property manager and never heard back from him. She would never acknowledge me or my children when I had questions. Her customer service was despicable and she should be fired immediately! Her behavior should not be tolerated no matter how old she is.

When you’re staying at a place for more than just a night, the way staff treat you matters just as much as the rooms themselves. Housekeeping made us feel valued, but the front desk interactions left a negative impression that overshadowed much of the good.

Cayman Suites could easily be a fantastic place to stay if the front desk experience matched the quality of the rooms and housekeeping service. Management should seriously address this issue, because no guest should feel uncomfortable or unwelcome, especially when everything else about the property was enjoyable. With the right changes at the front desk, I believe Cayman Suites could be a 5-star experience.

Nickita the manager was very helpful. David who assisted during my short stay with very helpful as well. The gentleman at the front desk was quick to respond. My review has nothing to do with them.

There was a live mouse in my room. I had checked in ours earlier, left, and returned about 8:30. I was sitting on the bed eating a bowl of soup and fries and out of my peripheral view I see something moving on the base board which sits high, about a foot from the ground. It was a big, gray mouse. I toss the fries and run downstairs. The front desk clerk calls the manager and tells me he can give me another room. I refuse and say I prefer to leave and want a full refund.

When I checked in, I thought I was looking at dead ants in the drawers and even on the bed. I realize now that they were not ants. They were mice droppings.
