The park has facilities for many outdoor and indoor sports, including softball and soccer, and hosts numerous tournaments yearly. Sunday summer concerts in the park are free. The jogging paths are transformed each winter into the City's now famous dazzling "Winterfest of Lights."
The hotel is in the ocean block with no major streets to cross to the beach.

Reasonable pricing and mini kitchen were already pluses when we booked. When we arrived the room was nice and neat and clean. There were a couple small things in the room we brought to the front desk's attention and maintenance was sent right away to resolve! My son cut his foot on the way back from the beach (which is super close to the hotel btw), and the front desk rushed to grab a first aid kit to get him all cleaned and wrapped up. We ended up leaving my brand new swimsuit there which we realized on our 6.5 hour trip home, and they actually mailed it to me! I am so impressed with our stay, and we will be staying there again for our next family vacation!

I stayed with my husband, place was clean, the room was clean with mini kitchen, wish they would of have more tools to work in the kitchen, we needed a toaster and asked for one at the front desk and they gave us one, but no much tools like spatula and things like that. I didn't like that you could hear people in other rooms at night time, pool was nice, not much restaurants around.
Young ladies at the front desk on their phone having conversation but not in English and didn't make any contact with guests, love that they had a coffee station all day.

Customer service and location are pretty much all this place has going for it. Thank you to the front desk for trying to move us to a different room.
Checked in at 2PM and checked out the same day. We could not bring ourselves to sleep here because of how dirty the place was. The towels had stains and hair, couch had some crusted stain, blood stain on the sheets, etc.
Very disappointing experience overall. Bit the bullet and spent the money to move to a different hotel.
Edit 8.7.24 - I will not be returning to any Carousel group hotels after this experience. Management is responsible for following up with this type of feedback, not blame housekeeping. To be honest, I'm not sure I'd even go if it was free. I can see from the feedback nothing has improved.. and replies look like they're copied and pasted. Terrible.
