Carousel Hotel

Overall, we were generally satisfied with our stay. When we arrived at the hotel, I was very tired and feeling a little sick, and I barely had the energy to stand. Unfortunately, the front desk staff were very slow. When it was finally our turn, the female receptionist who was helping us kept us waiting for quite a while. Instead of assisting us, she was trying to take care of something for the coworker next to her. Waiting there unnecessarily was quite frustrating.
When we entered our room, we were welcomed by a clean and spacious room. It was nicely ventilated, and I was happy with the cleanliness. The only issue was that the bathroom was a little small.
The room’s circuit breaker tripped twice due to reasons on our end, but the staff took care of it immediately.
The indoor pool was very stuffy and had a strong chlorine smell. At times, a significant amount of water was leaking from the pipes in the ceiling and running directly into the pool. When I noticed this, I got out of the pool, although no one else seemed to be concerned about it. The hotel itself is large, but the pools are quite small.
There was also no hand soap in the bathroom, so I had to use the soap I brought with me.
Overall, we had a good stay, but there are a few areas that could definitely be improved.

We recently stayed at this hotel with our son and our family, and unfortunately our experience was very disappointing.
The biggest issue was the treatment we received at two different restaurants on the property. Our son has special needs, so we politely requested to be seated in quieter areas away from large crowds to help him feel comfortable. Instead of showing understanding, both restaurant hosts gave us attitude and made us feel like we were asking for something unreasonable. We shouldn't have had to go back and forth or justify why we were requesting a certain seating area. A little kindness and compassion would have gone a long way.
To make matters worse, the pullout couch in our room was completely broken. When we contacted the front desk, their solution was to have us move rooms at 10:30 at night. After a long day, packing up our belongings and relocating with a child that late was not a realistic or acceptable solution.
While the hotel itself has potential, the lack of empathy from staff and the way these issues were handled left us very disappointed. Families with children, especially those with special needs, deserve to be treated with respect and understanding. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and provides better training so future guests have a much better experience.

This is my summer family vacation review. 2026 July. We have stayed here several times in the off season and it was great.
We decided to rent a condo for our summer vacation. This trip fell way short of my experience during the off season. There is extremely to many people for the facilities they have. The outdoor pool was very crowded and the pool was not very clean. There was oil and hair floating in the corner.
The inside pool was better but it was inside summer vacation is outside in the sun. We do the indoor pool during the off season.
The condo was ok but needs updated for the price. At check in there was a fight because the person behind the counter let someone cut the long line and it pissed some people off pretty bad. Security stood there while the participants screamed and cursed one another. For what is framed as a resort does not deliver in some big areas.I will not be staying here during the summer again.P.S. check out was 10 am and with 2 elevators we waited 1/2 hour to bring our stuff down and this was 8:30am.staggered check out would be a better idea. SMH
