Carousel Hotel

Stayed for NYE 2026 on oceanfront it was beautiful. The hotel was so beautifully decorated for the holidays. There is a cute little cafe in the middle serving pizza, ice cream, coffee and more. The ice rink was fun and priced great, the arcades were fun. Nice indoor pool and hot tub and a great sauna. housekeeping was so outstanding our room was cleaned so well and with care. This hotel has it all.

I was charged an additional $60 for extra guest fees ...however, I booked 2 rooms for a total of 5 adults. Both rooms have 2 beds and a sofa bed. The hotel blames the fee on 3rd party site, 3rd party blames the hotel. Checking in, our host was very polite and friendly. However, she was unaware I had booked two rooms. Our room key cards didn't work initially. I ended up having to go back downstairs when both of my key cards stopped working completely. Extremely inconvenient, though mistakes happen. Rooms are severely outdated. Clean. Stains on pillow not very appealing. Bathtubs have terrible looking rust spots. No way of stopping water for a bath. One of our rooms had bath and hand towels and zero washclothes. No one answered the phone at front desk. Went downstairs had to wait due to noone at desk. Be aware the ocean front view is marred by the closed pool and some building. Also the thermostat doesn't get any higher than 76 and it took 48 hours to get there. The portable heater found in the closet does help some. The heater is extremely loud in both rooms. My young adult children enjoyed the arcade and the pool (not a heated pool.) On site parking is a plus. Not certain I'd give this property another chance, but it definitely isn't the worst and does have potential.

My husband and I booked a condo to celebrate our daughter’s 14th birthday. She was able to invite 4 friends and the hotel was so accommodating, she even had a menu created just for her with her favorite foods for her and her friends, she even had mocktail options! The girls got to ice skate , swim and play games in the arcade… all while my husband and I could sit and relax! It was the best birthday ever! Highly recommend other parents of teens think about doing that!
