Bonita Beach

We just finished our 2 night stay here and had a great time. Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children 6 and under) fit comfortably in a 2 queen room, which had a pull out couch as well. Full fridge and kitchenette was perfect for our family. Rooms and building were definitely remodeled over this off season. Clean and updated, balcony was small but kids loved the view of ocean and Coastal HWY. Staff was friendly and helpful. Indoor pool and game room was a hit too. The location is great, near all our favorites and like a 5 minute walk to the beach. Overall for the price this was an awesome 2 night stay down in ocean city! We are considering coming back later in the summer.

We came for a weekend away with some friends. They weren’t able to check us in on time and our rooms were dirty. We arrived at 4:00pm and weren’t able to get checked into our rooms until 4:30pm. Upon arriving to our rooms, the bathroom was dirty and the sofa bed had crumbs of food all over it, just going to show they didn’t properly clean the room. I contacted the front desk 4 times to get maintenance in here to clean our room and each time they said “someone should be up in 10 minutes.” We ended up leaving for the night and come back around 12am and the rooms had not been touched. It had been 8 hours and not once did someone come up. I go down to the front desk to see what they can do and they told me the only thing they could do right now is give me fresh linen and sheets because there were no rooms available to switch us too. The next morning we wake up and leave for breakfast and I ask the front again to clean our room and we come back and the crumbs were still all over. We asked AGAIN ,and AGAIN, they said “someone should be up in 10 minutes.” It took them another 2 hours after we got back from breakfast for them to finally come in and clean our room. Our door latch was broken and our toilet was not installed properly as it rocked every time we sat on it. I will say, the location is great, it’s a 3 minute walk to the beach and close by a lot of restaurants and activities. Overall, very disappointing stay and I don’t think my friends and I will be staying here again.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a disappointing experience overall. One of the first issues was that the hotel does not offer early or late check-out options. Although the website states that check-in begins at 4:00 PM, I was required to wait until exactly 4:00 PM before I could access my room.

Upon entering the room, I immediately noticed an unpleasant odor in the hallway. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room did not meet expectations. The bed sheets underneath the comforter had noticeable yellow and brown stains, and there was also a stain in the bathtub. While there was hot water available, the water pressure was below average.

What was even more concerning was that I overheard several other guests complaining about the condition and cleanliness of their bed sheets as well, which suggests this may not have been an isolated issue.

I also found the front desk staff to be less accommodating than I would have expected. Given that the hotel was recently renovated, I anticipated a much higher standard of cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service.

On a positive note, the kids had a great time in the pool, and it was convenient that the arcade room was located right next to it. The sundeck was also a nice place to relax and unwind during our stay.

Unfortunately, the positive amenities did not outweigh the concerns I had with the cleanliness of the room and the overall guest experience. Based on this stay, I would not choose to stay at this hotel again, nor would I recommend it to others.
