Bonita Beach

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a disappointing experience overall. One of the first issues was that the hotel does not offer early or late check-out options. Although the website states that check-in begins at 4:00 PM, I was required to wait until exactly 4:00 PM before I could access my room.

Upon entering the room, I immediately noticed an unpleasant odor in the hallway. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room did not meet expectations. The bed sheets underneath the comforter had noticeable yellow and brown stains, and there was also a stain in the bathtub. While there was hot water available, the water pressure was below average.

What was even more concerning was that I overheard several other guests complaining about the condition and cleanliness of their bed sheets as well, which suggests this may not have been an isolated issue.

I also found the front desk staff to be less accommodating than I would have expected. Given that the hotel was recently renovated, I anticipated a much higher standard of cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service.

On a positive note, the kids had a great time in the pool, and it was convenient that the arcade room was located right next to it. The sundeck was also a nice place to relax and unwind during our stay.

Unfortunately, the positive amenities did not outweigh the concerns I had with the cleanliness of the room and the overall guest experience. Based on this stay, I would not choose to stay at this hotel again, nor would I recommend it to others.

The only thing good about this hotel is its location because it is only a 2-minute walk to the beach and you can partially see the ocean from the side of the building and the balcony. Other than that this hotel is trash!!
It's overly priced! For the amount they are charging for some nights it is up to $305 and the pool was dirty. The whole pool area was dirty. The bedding smelled like dirty bleach mop water. The bedding made me itch and I was very dissatisfied. I had Expedia refund me half of my cost which I was happy about because I bought the protection plan. However, if I wouldn't have bought the protection plan I would have been screwed, but that's what protection plans are for. For the price of this hotel you can stay somewhere very nice
My little cousin left her purse in the game room which that was her fault for leaving it. However, we went back and looked for the purse three different times. It was not there. We went to the front desk at first. The lady said they could watch the cameras to see. Then they started speaking in another language and then proceeded to say no. They could not watch the cameras to see what happened to the purse. That the cameras don't work!! They contacted housekeeping once again. Spoke in a foreign language that we could not understand so my husband said let's just go check the game room. One more time. When we went back to the game room the purse magically appeared after the front desk spoke to the housekeeping. So obviously somebody took it and then put it back when they knew we were looking for it...
I do not recommend this hotel, especially for some of the nights to be up to $305. You can go stay at the Hilton or the Hyatt for that price and at least have a clean pool and bedding that doesn't make you itch or smell like dirty mop water!
When I got into the shower it had rust marks, black mold marks and then when I stepped to the middle of the tub the floor underneath was missing and it felt like the bathtub was going to cave in. Once again I do not recommend this hotel!

We just finished our 2 night stay here and had a great time. Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children 6 and under) fit comfortably in a 2 queen room, which had a pull out couch as well. Full fridge and kitchenette was perfect for our family. Rooms and building were definitely remodeled over this off season. Clean and updated, balcony was small but kids loved the view of ocean and Coastal HWY. Staff was friendly and helpful. Indoor pool and game room was a hit too. The location is great, near all our favorites and like a 5 minute walk to the beach. Overall for the price this was an awesome 2 night stay down in ocean city! We are considering coming back later in the summer.
