I want to start by saying I don't normally write reviews, good or bad. But my friend booked a "Wedding " hair style with this Salon we are from W.V and it was a beach wedding. Rating 4.5 Stars who's rating this place the workers????
She called and specifically asked can they do "Ethnic textured hair"
Yes of course. LIES.!
It was a very Simple style nothing big or fancy for a beach wedding. THIS SALON CHARGED $150 FOR WEDDING HAIR.
Not an Issue it was paid for in advance and AFTER 3 HOURS!! Her hair looked worse then when we got there. The Bridal Party ended up having to Fix it the BEST WE COULD before the wedding which she was almost late for on the count of the SALON having no clue how to deal with her Hair Type..
After she was done we asked for a discount being she was not happy with her hair and it would need to be FIXED By us.. They said she had to talk to the Owner because the card was already charged. They now will not return her Calls after several attempts.!
She is Not asking for a refund. SHE JUST WANTS TO PAY FOR WHAT SHE GOT WHICH WAS NOT WEDDING HAIR AND NOT AT ALL WORTH THE $150 SHE PAID...
DO NOT TRUST THIS SALON.!!
ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE FROM OUT OF TOWN, THEY'LL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU KNOWING THAT YOU DON'T LIVE AROUND THERE.!!

My 15 year old daughter asked for 4 or 5 inches cut! The stylist put her hair in a ponytail and cut it while it was dry! I kid you not it was more like 8 plus inches my child was devastated and cried the entire time! Who does that especially when she showed the stylist with her hands how much! Will not be returning’!

I don’t know where to start, my sister called to set up a bridal hair appt, we were never given a contract she was never informed they just scheduled! Let’s fast forward to the day I was getting my hair done, the hair stylist was nice but said she didn’t know why she was blocked off so long of a slot and then when she got in to work was told she had to do a brides hair and she was unaware of that until that morning and stated multiple times she doesn’t do bride hair that another stylist does, my bridal party had to leave to start to get ready it was me and my friend left, I showed her a look I wanted we tried it didn’t work so I came up myself with another solution to try long story short the stylist stated she didn’t know what to do several times but I was running out of time and my friend said we will redo this at the hotel, the stylist stated she didn’t want us to have unfortunately we did! My sister paid before hand for my hair which came to 150 dollars and I left a tip and I left with a ponytail and 2 curls. So we called to see what can be done the owner of course seen it her way and came up with several excuses so she told my sister she’d look into it and call her back she never did! I didn’t want anything for free! But at least charge for the wash “that I didn’t need” and flat iron which only should’ve been 60-70 top! I tried to call the salon today no response back! So yea 1 star review

I will update my review after I spoke with the owner, she did end up refunding half of the money back which was a good thing.
