Our check-in process was seamless, and Schaea, the counter representative, was exceptionally professional, welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. We were genuinely delighted to be greeted as Marriott members and to receive the benefits associated with our status.

Throughout our stay, we were warmly greeted by housekeeping staff, as well as Rochian from the general cleaning staff, who kindly gave us instructions on how to navigate the hotel. Each time we passed the front desk, we were greeted with a cheerful “Enjoy your outing” or a hearty “Welcome back to the hotel.” These small gestures made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued throughout our stay.

We did encounter two maintenance issues, which we understood were related to the hotel’s transition from its previous ownership to becoming a Marriott establishment. On both occasions, the front desk attendants, Andrew and Maddy, made us feel as though our requests were their top priority. Each issue was addressed within approximately five minutes of our returning to the room. As a result, there was virtually no interruption to our stay because the maintenance team responded promptly and efficiently.

The issues turned out to be minor items that had not been completed during the transition, such as rebooting the television so that it could display the Marriott member’s name and reconnecting cords located behind the bed. We were very impressed with the level of service provided and believe that grace and patience are certainly warranted as the hotel continues its transition.

The rooms were spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, we left thoroughly impressed and completely satisfied with our experience. The exceptional customer service, welcoming atmosphere, and prompt attention to our needs made our stay especially enjoyable.

We are already looking forward to returning and staying with them again next year!

The hotel staff were absolutely fantastic! From the front desk staff, the staff in the eatery to the housekeeping staff they were all pleasant and efficient. The only exception was when I checked in, a manager was discussing a correction with a staff member in front of the guests checking in. He was using a harsh/corrective tone, which should have been done AWAY from guests. The rooms were very clean. There were 2 queen beds in my room. Both needed the mattresses rotated as there was sagging on the side where the center table was. The rooms could also use a lamp on both sides of the queen beds as well as a reading/ lounging chair in the corner. The location is close to restaurants but far enough from the boardwalk to be peaceful. The housekeeper I had on the sixth floor was pleasant and personable. All staff I encountered, at the special events as well as the restaurant and bar were professional, personable and efficient.

Overall a relaxing, resort-type hotel. The interior is so classy. The restaurant breakfast was fantastic! The beach area is so private and so convenient. There’s an Acme a few blocks away, which was awesome! (they even have a bar next to the pool😉)

Unfortunately, though, we didn’t love our experience. We are the type of people who just stay in a room to get ready & sleep. We’re not picky, but there were flaws we couldn’t ignore. Firstly, there were no shower towels/rags in the room, the door to the balcony was so hard to open & the handle kept breaking off, and there was no ice in the machines (we checked every floor).
When we got in the bed for the night, there was sand in the bed, indicating that they did not change/wash the bedding.
Although the restaurant was tasteful, the host was very rude & didn’t speak to us at all. We asked for a table for two and she rolled her eyes, grabbed two menus, and walked us over to the table.
