A solidly okay stay for a conference.
Pros: beachfront location, semi-updated space, spacious room, convenient to conference, staff was lovely when I asked them questions. The fitness room was never crowded and had a filtered water station for bottle refills.
Cons: renovations look like they were great when originally done, and have not been well maintained. Rooms and hallways had dirt / smudges on walls and bathroom corners had dirt / hair that wasn’t mine 🥴. For this price point, I’d hoped for additional amenities like a water station on each floor (even every other!), lobby coffee service in the am (or at least k cups that are not expired in the hotel room) and slightly higher cleaning standards. I understand it’s off-season and maybe there’s more intention around cleaning / maintenance when it’s busier.

I’ve stayed at this hotel before, back when it had a different name, and I was pleasantly surprised by the renovations and rebranding—it looks great!
This visit was for business, but I brought my daughter along. She had to check in on her own, and the staff made the process smooth and easy for her, which I really appreciated.
During our stay, I ended up needing to stay an extra night due to work, and the hotel was kind enough to extend my stay at the same rate—huge plus!
We also visited the Tide Room where we had eggs, bacon, and potatoes—simple but delicious. My daughter went to the beach every day and even got to watch the hotel setting up for a beautiful wedding.
Our room was clean, cozy, and “cute” in her words. She didn’t want to leave, and honestly, neither did I.
Would I come back? Absolutely. It was a 10/10 stay!

My bf and I stayed here for our valentines weekend and we ended up getting a room that was by the elevator and not a room on the hallway. So the entire weekend all we could hear is the loud elevator going up and down up and down with people standing by our door waiting to get on and off all day and all night. The next thing that really upset us was the fact that we paid for a full beach front view king suite room. Our windows were facing another building and on the side was the ocean. This is not what the photos looked like online nor on their website and on the booking site. The pictures also show a balcony where chairs are sitting so you can view the ocean.. none of the balconies in this hotel are cable of holding one chair .. not even one person. Not only are the balconies falsely advertised but the floor inside the room sinks down where the balcony runs off.
This is supposed to be to be a king suite room but we didn’t even have a microwave. The only different thing we had was a dresser with a coffee machine plugged in ontop of it .. a small table and a small couch. The bathroom was hidden inside of a small closet. So basically you enter the closet and have to close the closet door just to enter a small bathroom that one person could enter. The first night we called and asked for utensils and the kitchen said they would bring them up and we never received them. The next morning at 7am we called and asked for clean towels and trash bags because we had our son with us and the trashcan in the room was big enough for only one diaper. Mind you we were staying here for three days and two nights. Hours go by and we don’t receive any trash bags or towels. We end up calling 3 times and then we go downstairs to the front desk where they tell us to be patient and that cleaners would be on our floor to leave towels soon enough. We didn’t receive our towels and trash bags until 12 hours later at 8pm when we got back from dinner only because we kept calling multiple times again to complain about it. I even asked to speak to management and ended up getting told that no one was available to speak to. That same night we had kids get off the elevator multiple times and bang on our door all night. We called to let front desk know about that as well and nothing was done. To say we were disappointed is an understatement.
