Awesome NASA visitor center. Great little museum with lots of interactive displays, for kids and adults. There are a lot of interesting adult focused displays too. Lots of free pamphlets and papers on different subjects. Also, the admission was free when I went, which was nice.

There is a truly amazing globe that uses projectors to show different maps and images. It is one of the coolest things... maybe ever? Especially for someone who likes meteorology, cartography, or just appreciates different information displayed via a globe. I suggest taking some time to play around with the globe!

Also the little gift shop has a lot of cool items and shirts/sweatshirts. Very well priced.

Highly suggest visiting!!

Although I only life an hour and a half north of Wallops I'd never been there. The displays at the visitor's center were excellent. Informative and interesting. The outside needs some maintenance though. The landscaping needs to be straightened and the building could use a good power wash.

Were we visiting Chincoteague and just happen to drive by NASAs Wallop Facility and decided to swing in. It’s got several rockets around the property and does have a launch pad you can see live launches at if you happen to be there on the right day.
