Surf Inn Suites

Granting it is a very "well loved" building, it is in reasonable shape. Staff definitely takes pride in their work and it shows. Very pleasant and accommodating The room was ice cold in the nicest way as it was 100 degrees during our visit. The proximity to the beach made watching sunrise a cinch and repeated trips to the beach easy.

I stayed in this hotel with a few friends of mine & I’ll be honest this is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I’ll start with the staff was very friendly. But they charged us more than we booked online. The walls were paper thin and anyone who walks by sounds like they’re in your room and makes it to where you can’t sleep in at all. The room smells like mildew and cat pee, the room is humid 100% of the time though even with AC. Their toilet sucked. When we booked the website said we’d get “first floor ocean view” and that was not true. They didn’t give us enough towels and no washcloths but luckily the staff was quick to resolve that and were really kind. The location was great though & walking distance.

Traveled June 2025!-Door has mold on outside and inside room, carpet is super damp basically wet, bring your own pots, pans, basically everything you’ll need for a kitchen, no elevator (wasn’t told that when I called), staff isn’t nice at all. They don’t know the logistics about running a place like this. Blamed me for everything. Don’t stay here. When I brought up the mold to the manager/owner, she stated “Surf Inn suites” has the health department come out every year. Basically not answering my questions and concerns.
