Shore Point Cottages

Basically a 2 bedroom suite for a standard room price! Hidden gem of OCMD!

I was here for a work trip but will be back with the whole family. Great location - great food nearby. Great balance of being close to the action in OCMD but in a quiet area. I know it sounds silly to say but the hot water in the shower got hot, the A/C and refrigerator got cold, the internet was fast, the TV's worked, the couches and the beds were comfortable and most importantly it was clean and safe - everything went exactly as you would hope!

My recent stay at Shore Point Cottages was an excellent experience, and I would gladly return.

Located in West Ocean City, the property offers the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. It's only a short drive from the famous Ocean City Boardwalk—about 2.5 miles away—while still feeling removed from the crowds and bustle. The location is ideal, with a variety of restaurants nearby, easy access to grocery stores for stocking the kitchen, and the Ocean City outlet mall just minutes away for shopping. The quaint town of Berlin, MD, voted Top 10 Great American Main Street in 2017, 2018 & 2025, is a stone's throw away.

From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed. The General Manager was friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care that guests had a great stay. That level of hospitality made a strong first impression and continued throughout my visit.

I stayed in a two-bedroom cottage, and it was meticulously maintained. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. The cottage felt less like a rental and more like a home away from home. The fast, reliable Wi-Fi was a pleasant surprise, making it easy to stay connected when needed.

The pool was inviting and well-kept, and the landscaping throughout the property was absolutely top-notch. The grounds are beautifully maintained and contribute to the relaxing atmosphere of the community. I arrived at a time when the rose bushes were in full bloom - A treat for a biophilic practitioner.

The nearby natural areas and preserves added another layer of enjoyment to my stay. I especially loved being close to Assateague Island and its surrounding natural beauty, which provided a peaceful contrast to the excitement of Ocean City.

One of the things I appreciated most was the property's convenient access to fitness and wellness options. A CrossFit box and a yoga studio are located less than a quarter mile away, making it easy to maintain a workout routine while traveling.

No property is perfect, and there were a couple of minor inconveniences. My cottage did not have an iron, and the hot water was not on-demand, so a little planning was required for showers. However, these were small issues compared to everything the property did well.

Overall, Shore Point Cottages delivered a comfortable, relaxing, and welcoming stay. Between the exceptional staff, beautiful grounds, spacious accommodations, proximity to the Boardwalk, restaurants, outlet shopping, supermarkets, fitness options, and nearby nature preserves, I left feeling refreshed and completely at home. If you're looking for a peaceful alternative to staying directly in Ocean City while remaining close to everything the area has to offer, Shore Point Cottages is an outstanding choice

we had a lacrosse tournament in berlin, md over this past weekend and chose shore point cottages as their location was perfect-- 10 minutes to the fields and close enough to the beach that if we wanted to go there for dinner it was only 25 minutes. the cottages are small, but cute and clean. having a kitchenette was great-- and they provided towels! our boys swam in the pool all afternoon after the first day of the tournament, we did some laundry and then went to OC for dinner. the next day after the games we hit up the farmers market in berlin for brunch. for us, the location was key but the cottage itself was a nice bonus. we'll be back!
