Residence Inn by Marriott Ocean City

We had an absolutely perfect experience for a week at the Residence Inn Ocean City. They upgraded us to one of the higher level rooms with a spectacular view from the balcony looking out at the bay - gorgeous. The location is top notch and everyone that we interacted with seemed genuinely happy, glad to be there, and ready to make our experience perfect. Can't say enough good things about it. We'll definitely be back.

The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to help with anything you need right away. However, the managers are a different story. Throughout my stay, every time I stepped out of my room, I noticed the manager treating the staff poorly and speaking to them disrespectfully. For the sake of the hotel’s reputation, I strongly recommend that management show more respect to their employees.

The location of the hotel is perfect, the rooms are very nice and come with a beautiful view of the ocean. The service unfortunately was not good. The day we arrived we notice the left side of the bedroom had no power, so we asked the reception desk to have that looked at and no one came. We also requested to have our room clean. We asked the reception desk once in the morning and another time late in the afternoon to please have our room clean, and it never happened. No one came by to clean. We asked two different receptionist and they both assured us that it will be, but it never happened. And lastly, the dinner area chairs really need to be cleaned or replaced. I'm an elite member, but will not being staying at this Residence Inn whenever we visit Ocean City.
