I recently stayed here for the 1st time 7/2025 & I was so pleased. The bay view was beautiful. The ac worked wonderfully, & the room was spacious & clean. My only complaint is that the rooftop pool is pretty small & closes very early. There is a bar at the pool, but they only take cash so I didn't check it out... Who takes cash to the pool???

My friend and I recently had the pleasure of staying at your hotel during our beach vacation 8/20- 8/24 and I wanted to provide feedback on our experience.
While we appreciated the location and the overall comfort of our room, our stay was unfortunately not without some challenges. The cost of accommodations has been increasing, and given that, we expected the hotel to reflect a higher standard of maintenance and updates. Hello, you have to pay for parking here each day. You don’t have to pay for parking at any other hotel that you stay at when it’s one vehicle.
Upon our arrival, we noticed an unpleasant odor in the lobby, which was concerning. We also decided to check out the bar inside the hotel, but we were disappointed to find that it was not serving food. Additionally, there was a strong, unpleasant odor, similar to cat urine, in the bar area, which made it difficult to imagine dining or having a drink there.
The room itself was clean upon arrival, and the sheets and towels smelled fresh, which we appreciated. However, we did encounter a few issues. Very outdated. The bathroom had an odor coming from the shower curtain, which required us to contact housekeeping for a replacement. The gentleman who responded — a polite and courteous Spanish gentleman — was extremely helpful and confirmed the issue right away. Additionally, the curtains in our room were torn, which detracted from the overall appearance. Considering the price of the room, these details should be addressed to maintain a higher standard.
Another concern was the slow plumbing throughout the hotel. On multiple occasions, we had to monitor the toilet to ensure it flushed properly, as we were instructed to hold down the handle until the water reached the rim of the toilet. The sink and shower drains were also slow to drain, which was frustrating and caused delays.
The elevators were another point of inconvenience. They were quite small, making it difficult to maneuver the luggage cart, and they moved very slowly, which further impacted our experience. We had to continuously go up and down four flights of stairs as there were no carts to lug our stuff up or down.
On a positive note, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well, which allowed us to rest after our long days. I would also like to commend the maintenance staff member named Dink was very courteous and quick to assist us when our in-room hairdryer wasn’t working. We appreciated their professionalism and prompt response.
While we are unsure if we would stay at this hotel again, we felt it was important to share this feedback in the hopes that it will help improve the experience for future guests.

Princess Bayside Beach Hotel
I enjoyed my stay at the Princess Bayside. This is my second year back at this hotel. The renovations on the rooms are starting off really well but the bed that was in my room the mattresses need to be replaced. They were very sunken in, but OK to sleep on I stayed for a week. The furniture needs to be replaced their chips. They’re broke drawers that don’t actually pushing well but the overall experience was good. The service was great. There’s no restaurant anymore in the bar. The bar was not open every day. The pool was nice. The roof top pool was nice. I’m more than likely will stay next year there during our Americn Legion week in Ocean City. I hope to get a better rate this year next year, but it was good. Just think about the replacement of the mattress and the furniture. Keep up the work on the remodeling it’s coming along.
