We had an ocean view with a sliding door to the balcony. The sliding door did not lock. And the balcony was connected to another with just a rail separating them. So someone could go over the rail to your balcony and into your room.
The heat/AC didn't work.
We had a hot tub/sauna in our room. The jets were amazing. Very powerful. But the faucet and handles were at the step to get in and it made it very difficult to get in and out. And I have knee issues which made it worse.

The floors were so sticky and our feet were black from just walking around the room. There was hair of multiple different people on the shower walls on the floor in the bathroom In the corners. The wallpaper is literally peeling off the wall. They only have 6 parking spots at the hotel. Maybe if we paid $500 for the weekend it wouldn’t be quite as bad but paying over $1000 for a weekend and having a filthy room is very frustrating especially with kids.

I've been thinking about this a lot, because although we had a good deal on the rates, considering we're in the shoulder season, they should be decent.... There was ONE big issue. No WI-FI for the whole 3 days, and we got a couple of responses but none were really valid. No one offered to provide some sort of refund, and we had to pay for some sort of hot spot so my husband could complete a work thing.

The location is perfect for beach and boardwalk, although loud during the day, and even into the night we kept hearing music.

Fairly clean throughout, staff was nice enough, older building and fixtures, nothing fancy. Got the job done, except for Wi-Fi. Parking was fine, but I can see how during the busy season it will fill up fast and then you'll have to park in a further lot. We got lucky with that.
