We booked the room for a 3-day festival.
We chose this hotel 3 miles from the location with a lot of the reason being breakfast; that was a mistake and everything else has been terrible.

We didn’t arrive to the hotel until 2am due to travel delays. Check-in was fairly easy.
Apparently the employees don’t turn on the electricity to the room until it gets assigned.
Our 1st room was a sauna-it was so hot and humid that I started sweating. Also, because the refrigerator had just been turned on, it wasn’t cold (because that’s super useful when you have items that need to be refrigerated 🙄)
I called the front desk and was told that she would try to adjust the temperature (please explain why the front desk has any control over my room?)
In addition to these issues, the door to the “patio” wouldn’t open or lock.
We changed rooms with the 2nd one having some type of leak in between the toilet and the shower. We threw a towel there and tried to sleep as it took us 12 hours to drive here and we were exhausted.
When speaking with the woman at the front desk, I told her that it was unacceptable that the air conditioner, refrigerator and patio door were not in working order. She agreed and said she would leave a note for the manager 🙄. I have yet to hear from anybody at this establishment.

Breakfast Saturday morning:
Plain eggs that taste like they came from frozen, plain potatoes that taste like nothing, sausage links (no bacon or patties-only sausage links) of which there is a sign that says only take 3….if I am paying for this room (not cheaply) there should not be a limit, bagels (plain and cinnamon raisin), moldy bread, blueberry muffins, some other type of bread, and waffles.
The batter dispenser for the waffles was empty. One of the toasters is broken as well as one of the waffle makers.
This was a huge disappointment as we could have stayed closer and fended for breakfast ourselves.
I had really hoped the breakfast was worth the extra distance…it is NOT

The story continues; I have tried multiple times to use the free WiFi network and I get kicked off of it every 2-3 minutes. I again called down to the front desk only to be told that she would “leave a note for the manager.”
When we got back from the 1st day of our festival, the WiFi is still not working on a consistent basis and of course the manager who was supposed to fix these issues wasn’t here and in no way tried to contact us.

We have also come to find out that besides the front desk having control over the air conditioning from the front desk (this feels like a violation), we are also locked out from turning the air conditioner below 65. I feel as though if I’m paying for this room I should be able to adjust the thermostat how I would like. I don’t even necessarily want to turn it below 65 but the air is humid and stagnant and I would like air movement. I can adjust the thermostat to fan mode but then it won’t automatically switch to air conditioning if the temperature goes up. A fan in an environment like this would have been a needed addition.

Both beds are super squeaky and the sheets feel like the very cheapest you could get from the dollar store 🤬

A couple of decent things about the hotel: under hotel parking (like a garage) so I feel my car is a little safer, bike racks, a tap by the bike racks to rinse your feet or items off from sand before you go into the hotel.

If we were able to we would have changed hotels!! Because we are at a 3-day festival that is during the day and due to limited availability of other establishments, we will tough it out.

We will NEVER book with La Quinta again!

Wife and I stayed here while we were attending the Oceans Calling music festival. The floor in our room was sticky and dirty. It look like it hadn't been swept or mopped in a very long time. But, nothing compared to the smell in the hallway. We were in room 108 and the hallway smelled like a dumpster. I actually looked to see if there was a dumpster on the ground floor near our room. Didn't find one, but I did find their attached "restaurant" Oceans 13... the smell was coming from them... it was a combination of old fryer oil and days old bait left baking out in the sun. It was disgusting!!! The entire hotel looks like it's been road hard... it needs to be cleaned top to bottom. The morning we checked out there was a huge puddle of water in the hallway. Water was dripping out of an air vent. The only positive I have for this hotel is the staff, they were friendly. For the amount we paid for the "privilege" to stay at this dump, I had expected way more.

The staff was pleasant. I have nothing against the people working there this isn’t their fault. They just work there BUT this was the most disgusting place I have ever stayed at. If I hadn’t booked for just a single night I would have left all together. But it was for literally a single night.

The room: had a fowl smell when you first walked in. Like trapped moisture mix with stale air; It felt clammy. The AC wouldn’t turn on it was unbearably hot all night long me and my family couldn’t sleep. The mattress was stained, the shower had mold and the floors not only felt sticky but were black.

The hotel: it was dirty. The halls and pool area had trash all throughout. The breakfast was cooked in a microwave in a small room.

Hotel bar/ restaurant: oceans 13 was the cherry on top. I called to order for pickup and was told we couldn’t do pick up. I have two small children and didn’t want to dine in with a 2 year old and 11 month old baby. We Just wanted to grab some chicken tenders and a burger for an easy dinner. Was given a coupon from front desk for 10% off for what? They didn’t want to accommodate us. Instead I took our business next door. Probably for the best. If the hotel and pool were disgusting I’m sure oceans 13 kitchen would have been dirty too.
