We are a family owned facility since 2005 and are located minutes from Ocean City, Maryland. If you and your family enjoy camping and are searching for a peaceful atmosphere to enjoy the outdoors then our campground is your answer.

Our RV sites are very large and offer full hookups to accommodate your every need. We offer a large pool for those hot days, a catch-release fishing program or rent a canoe and explore the local bay. The area offers numerous golf courses and antique stores.

Island resort offers recreational vehicle sites and deluxe cabins that overlook two lakes which are stocked with fish for our catch and release program. You can rent a kayak and fish, or take a day trip from our launch site and enjoy the wildlife of the bay. Our pool is heated and can be enjoyed for many months of the camping season with a deck that jets out over the lake. If you enjoy the sand in your toes, then pull up a chair on our beach along the lakes edge while the kids play. At the end of the day come site under our spacious gazebo and experience a breath taking sunset.

I don’t usually do reviews but after our stay at Island resort campground I feel like I must. My husband and I used to love this campground but haven’t been in several years. Decided to do a family weekend trip with four of our family members. Two staying in our camper and two in the cabin. The cost of the the cabin was $500.00 for the weekend. First thing we noticed were spider webs everywhere on the porch with spiders eggs . Once inside the cabin smelled horrible , bugs everywhere . Looked like it hadn’t been dusted in months . My daughter and I had to clean everything just for them to use the bathroom. Then when they went to try and sleep in there roaches crawling . They ended up having to stay in our camper as well. There are ant holes everywhere on the ground which were biting so it was hard to sit outside. No cable or WiFi . Tried to go down to the canoes but got ate up by the large flies which also bite. Will say the pool was ok. There hasn’t been upgrades to this place in a very long time. No trash pickup you have to take it to dumpster. Talk to another guy staying in a cabin said his was filthy and had roaches too. So very disappointed used to be such a nice place. Reported it to office said we will refund you $50 . Wow . Definitely need to hire better cleaning people. Won’t be back.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a quick weekend getaway. The cabin we stayed in was really cute! Perfect for a couple but also had bunk beds for a couple friends or kids to come along. Fishing was great! I personally used to come here a lot with my family before covid, we used to stay in a camper along the lake and had many week long vacations, we even had thanksgiving here one year! The view is beautiful! This campground is quiet, peaceful, and just a short drive away from Ocean City. The staff were very nice and the store had everything we needed. I’m happy I made the trip back to this place now that im older. This campground is so nostalgic to me personally, and I will definitely be back soon to create more memories here!

Just like to post a big thank you to the island Resort family for the great service we got this morning. Upon leaving we found we had a flat tire. We called the office asking for help and she yes, sure they’ll be right out. They were there within 5 minutes and we were on the road in a half hour!!! We love Island Resort and camp there a couple three times a year. So thank you to the two gentlemen and the lady in the office!
