It all started with one 23-unit building which has burgeoned over the years into the landmark property that stands today. We are now a second-generation business, boasting two ocean view buildings, 112 units, and an indoor and outdoor pool. We have many types of units to choose from; each designed to suit any family’s needs, including rooms, efficiencies, kitchenettes, and suites. And our ideal downtown location on 31st Street positions our guests within walking distance from Ocean City’s terrific attractions: the beach, the Boardwalk, restaurants, amusement parks, shopping, and entertainment.

We've stay at the Flamingo many times and it'd definitely going downhill. We arrived to check in and many things were off and the excuse of lack of housekeeping was worked. I get it, but that's not really our problem. We had an efficiency and it didn't have any plates, cups or flatware we had to ask for some and they lady had to go to the other building to get them, she was the only one working. Even then we were brought dirty dishes.

After check in things were better, the room was relatively clean, definitely could be better. The housekeeping service got better later in the week.

The TV SUCKS!!! It cuts out and freezes all the time. It wasn't just mine as we were with another couple in another room that had the same issue.

They don't provide any comforters, just sheets, so pack a blanket.

The location is great though, but I hope the new owners get back on track and quit cutting corners. Not sure if I will be back.

Very unhelpful front staff. Nobody was at the front desk for 15 minutes while a line built up. They took no accountability for their tardiness. We were only bought a room for showers only (not staying overnight), and were expecting us to pay for extra people, despite explaining our situation. A proper solution could be taking company provided courses in customer service, and reading and analyzing case studies for future positive experiences. Until they do so however, please do yourself a favor and pick any of the other hotels in the surrounding area. Maybe summer 2026 they will accept and grow from their faults.

The plusses were a great view of the ocean from our balcony. While our room was basic as expected it was clean and comfortable. We had a sink clog and it was fixed promptly once we notified staff.
Now the minuses, the TV Internet reception was horrible it was constantly buffering to a point of total irritation. On my third morning there the lobby was out of sugar for the coffee. I notified the clerk. The fourth morning at 7:30 expecting sugar instead found they were out of sugar still AND coffee! The clerk informed me the manager was on his way with coffee and sugar. At 9:20 as I was checking out still no coffee and sugar. I would think that a basic amenity as this would be constantly monitored and stocked. It seems like a trifle concern but seriously it felt like there was no regard for the customers comfort.
