Flagship Oceanfront Hotel

Recently stayed here and I was hesitant because of the reviews so here’s mine, we got there the receptionist was nice she checked us in gave us the parking pass explained everything and gave me the room keys. The elevator was small & the hallway to the room kinda smell like urine ngl , but we made into our room on the first floor it’s was okay it was decent for the price the AC worked the balcony was ok the chairs and table was outdated so was the furniture & bed frames but the bed was still comfortable. I loved the quick access to the beach and to the boardwalk the pool was good too. I like that they had grills so guest could use I thought that was neat. The bathroom was ok but the toilet bowl wasn’t clean in the inner under parts. At check out the receptionist were really friendly overall it was still a good experience and my children had an amazing time

We just left there today ! We have stayed here in the past and it wasn’t great but not totally bad either . This time was awful . I had 4 of my Grandkids along . They like the indoor pool . We had a I refundable room so I had to suck it up . As soon as we arrived the first thing right out of the car , my Granddon stepped on a Fentanyl testing kit . The whole parking lot smelled liked weed as well as inside the hotel . Our room was gross . In the kitchenette was grease splashed on the wall and bottom right of toilet looked very first . Nothing smelled cleaned . I was so disappointed. I used to love staying there . The only perks was the indoor pool and it being right in the boardwalk . I used to clean houses and this place was filthy . I did check under the bed for bugs but thankfully there was none . Never again . I’d rather walk a couple blocks and stay in a cleaner safe place !

This hotel should be demolished. In very poor condition. In need of repairs plenty. Also through cleaning. The cleaning staff would do a few requests When I asked. They seemed very timid when I would speak to them. I told the one boss this morning of things so bad he was shocked. Called for maintenance right away and housekeeping. We left.
