This was the worst experience for 3 days. When we arrived the room was ice cold! It took 6 or 7 hours to thaw out! None of our lights were working so they sent a maintenance guy up to run extension cord to get our lights on.
They did offer to move the room. We already had everything unpacked.. Then we were trying to sleep and there was this thumping noise over our heads at 600 in the morning. It was coming from the fitness room tread mill. They eouldnt tell them to stop. I had to ask them myself. Even though quiet times wete 10pm - 8Am. Contant noise from the fitness center in our room 728. The heater had no thermostat. It blew hot air out the whole time nonstop. The rooms next door played the tv constantly all night very loud. The front desk manager would not come up to our room to hear all the noise from the treadmill. Again, I asked for a comp for the room and she refused. They wanted to move our room but not move our belongings. I think we should of been compensated. I like the hotel overall. We had a great New Years Eve night at their party. And it is very clean. The managers and front desk does not want to help. And then the last night our door card

Overall horrible experience and disappointment. I had booked the Fenwick Inn for my family to have a little weekend getaway during the winter. We saw online they had a nice pool, splash pad for the kids and what looked like a nice hotel. Upon check in the woman who was behind the desk was rude and inconsiderate. I called beforehand to make the hotel aware that I was traveling with my service dog and asked about which room I could book for as I know some hotels prefer service dogs to be in pet friendly rooms due to peoples allergies. I was told they have pet friendly rooms, that one of those would probably be best. When I arrived to check in I was rudely told by the woman at the front desk that I would have to pay the pet deposit since I booked a pet friendly room. I explained I have a mobility service dog and was exempt from the fees. She seemed super annoyed and was like no that's incorrect. I asked to speak to the manager and her tune quickly changed stating there was no manager on duty but she could do me a favor this time by waiving the fee. Whatever.. my family went on to check into the room, which was filty, dog hair everywhere, smelled like dog pee, gold fish shoved in the ac/heating unit, old coffee cup under the couch, water stains on the walls and hair in the shower. I tried to hold back my wanting to leave for the simple fact that my children really wanted to go to the pool and splash pad. We had seen online the hotel had a nice pool and splash pad for younger children and they were excited. Well...it was an huge nightmare. Upon going to the pool we noticed 50 plus children running around the hallways and around the pool area. Apparently they were having a birthday party which later we found out from the front desk overnight lady that the hotel rents out their breakfast nook area for birthday parties from 12-4pm and you can have up to 50 people attend. The pool area was insane! Children running and jumping in the pool, absolutely no adult supervision, pool floats in the pool along with other toys and trash...I tried to use the hot tub and I had children jumping over me, splashing and kicking me. It was ridiculous. I brought it to the front desk's attention in the morning and was told there wasn't anything they could do since the hotel allowed birthday parties, but rather try coming to the pool after the party left. My family did try and go later to the pool but there were still children running around unsupervised so we decided against it. The breakfast in the morning was a joke, probably the worst I have ever had at a hotel who states they have free breakfast. The options were a frozen breakfast sandwich (croissant, egg, cheese and sausage) that required you to warm up in the microwave.. my children said it was nasty and even the dog wouldn't eat it. They had wrapped bagels and muffins that were stale, bananas that were brown and a pancake machine that currently wasn't working and the guy working there said he didn't know what happened to it. Overall I was super disappointment and wouldn't recommend anyone to ever stay here.

We chose this hotel specifically because it was away from the busy boardwalk — we were looking for a quiet, relaxing weekend by the beach with our young child and dog. We stayed for two nights in September, after the peak season. We really appreciated how close the beach was, especially with convenient services like the shuttle, beach chairs, and the splash pad, which was a great bonus.

Unfortunately, our stay wasn’t as restful as we hoped. On our first night, a large group made excessive noise — screaming, honking car horns, motorcycles revving, etc. — for nearly four hours during quiet hours. We called the front desk three separate times, but nothing was addressed until we finally threatened to call the police. This made it very difficult for our family to get any sleep.

We also struggled with basic service. We understood that housekeeping couldn’t enter our room because of our dog, which was fine. However, getting fresh towels was nearly impossible. We had to call three different times: Saturday night around 7 pm, again Sunday morning at 7:30 am, and once more at 9:45 am before we finally got them.

Overall, the location and amenities were great, but the noise issue and lack of timely service really impacted our experience.
