Stay Over Memorial Day Weekend (May 24–26, 2025)
I recently spent the Memorial Day weekend at this hotel, and overall, it left a favorable impression. Here's a breakdown of how things went:
1. Room Quality
The accommodations were clean, spacious, and comfortable—a real highlight of my stay. Everything felt fresh, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. It was exactly what you want after a long travel day.
2. Location & Convenience
The hotel’s location was ideal—extremely convenient with access to nearby attractions and amenities. Whether I wanted to explore the area or run quick errands, everything was within easy reach.
3. Pool Experience
The indoor pool was inviting—but the pool water had too much chlorine. Just being in the area made my eyes sting, which detracted from the relaxing vibe I was hoping for.
4. Complimentary Breakfast
I appreciated the free breakfast—it was tasty and a solid way to start the morning. That said, I did feel there could have been a slightly wider variety of options to choose from, especially during a busy holiday weekend.
5. Staffing During the Holiday Rush
During the busy holiday weekend, the hotel appeared to be understaffed—there was only one person manning the front desk. It led to longer wait times at check-in/check-out and occasionally felt like things were stretched thin.
Would I Stay Again?
Yes. Despite a few minor drawbacks, the comfortable rooms, perfect location, and enjoyable breakfast made this a stay worth repeating—especially if the pool chlorine level is adjusted and staffing is improved during busy weekends.

We chose this hotel specifically because it was away from the busy boardwalk — we were looking for a quiet, relaxing weekend by the beach with our young child and dog. We stayed for two nights in September, after the peak season. We really appreciated how close the beach was, especially with convenient services like the shuttle, beach chairs, and the splash pad, which was a great bonus.
Unfortunately, our stay wasn’t as restful as we hoped. On our first night, a large group made excessive noise — screaming, honking car horns, motorcycles revving, etc. — for nearly four hours during quiet hours. We called the front desk three separate times, but nothing was addressed until we finally threatened to call the police. This made it very difficult for our family to get any sleep.
We also struggled with basic service. We understood that housekeeping couldn’t enter our room because of our dog, which was fine. However, getting fresh towels was nearly impossible. We had to call three different times: Saturday night around 7 pm, again Sunday morning at 7:30 am, and once more at 9:45 am before we finally got them.
Overall, the location and amenities were great, but the noise issue and lack of timely service really impacted our experience.

I stayed last weekend for a friend's birthday and when we asked if we could come check in a little early so we could set up the room they said yes, which we really appreciated. The older gentleman that works there was really nice and a hard worker. The room was clean, bright, spacious for us, and plenty of outlets. However, the housekeeping is atrocious. We called down to the front desk after checking in to get extra towels and toilet paper for all the people staying in the room (4 people altogether) since we only had one roll of toilet paper, and they said okay. Housekeeping did not come, so we called down again the next morning... still nothing. We went out into the hallway to go downstairs for breakfast and there was a housekeeper standing right there next to our door, but she just gave me the side eye. By this point we had removed our "Do Not Disturb" tag off our door so they could come in if we weren't there. We called a third time in the afternoon and there was a rude woman on the other end (she was younger and had kind of strawberry blonde hair). She told me I should be patient and that they will get to us when they can. So then we were heading out for a little bit, standing in the hallway was another housekeeper that was working on the room next to us, she gave us a dirty look and walked away while we tried to talk to her about getting towels and toilet paper. When we went downstairs, we talked to the older gentleman and he immediately apologized and went to fetch us some toilet paper. When we went back to our room later, housekeeping made our bed, but still did not bring extra towels. If my mom didn't bring a roll of toilet paper from home, we wouldn't have anything to use for the bathroom for over 24 hours. That is not acceptable. I also, don't appreciate that there is no way to leave a review or talk to someone about our stay other than going through a third party like Google, or Booking.com.
