I was nervous staying here because of all the bad reviews. The rooms were small but very clean and comfortable. Our bathroom was clean. It’s one of the cleanest budget hotels I’ve ever stayed in and you get to use the pool/pool bar at the commander hotel. The main the office is literally right across the street in the commander. Everyone was nice and accommodating. We were on the second floor and had to walk up steps but we were prepared for that so no complaints. We enjoyed it and will stay here again l.

I was in the building across the street from the main commander hotel from the pool. I was in room 401. Upon entering the building, an immediately strong smell of mildew is present. I was there for four days, the smell was strong and pungent the whole time. There are no stairs. There was sand in my sheets and all of the ceilings were severely slanted. We all banged our head many times. My nephew who is 5'9 had to bend his head to use the bathroom. The shower only a trickle of water to shower with. It was unacceptable. For a three bedroom hotel room, more then one trashbag is a necessity, and at least three additional toilet paper rolls. The doorknob on one of the bedroom doors was so loose I avoided touching it. The building I stayed in had no hotel staff present. The check in desk was across the street, this information was not provided beforehand. There is no free parking at all. It's $10 a day for all cars. I would definitely not stay here again.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Check in/main office is in a different building..down the street. Looks nice but it's not. No staff on site. 3 floors and no elevator to bring your luggage up, you have to drag it up the narrow stairs. Room was tiny --maybe 1-2 feet on each side of the bed and that was it. There was no remote for the TV and no buttons on it to turn it on. Had to sit in silence and hear the people next door which was ridiculous. It's an old big house with thin walls. Woke up to ants all over our stuff and in our bed. Complained to staff (at the office down the street) and they said they couldn't help me since I booked through Priceline...
